Weight-to-strength ratio is the engineering brief behind this Ford Fiesta MK7 roll cage, rather than simply piling in as much T45 as possible. Tube sizes and the overall geometry are optimised so the structure does its job without adding unnecessary mass over the front axle, and the kit carries FIA/MSUK certification for UK and international eligibility.
Tubes are laser-profiled at the ends and CNC bent before they leave our workshop, which keeps fitment accurate and removes the need for on-car persuasion. Once in place, the layout gives strong side-impact protection through hoop laterals, a dash bar, and cross door bars on both sides of the cabin - areas that matter most in a side-on shunt.
The cage ties into the MK7 shell at its strongest points: rear suspension mounts and front turrets carry the main structure, a harness bar spans the rear turrets ready for harness anchorage, and a front cross member braces the bulkhead. It's a layout designed to work with the car's own strong points rather than against them.
Every kit leaves us checked and packed: tubes are CNC laser-cut, footplates and gussets are laser cut and folded, and a weld test sample is included so your welder can prove competency before cutting into the cage itself. Each part carries a unique Buildmaster sticker ID, checked and signed off twice, and a unique ID plaque ships with the kit - this gets welded to the finished cage and must be kept safe, along with the included declaration forms and fitting guide.
This cage is FIA/MSUK certificated. Certification applies from the date the certificate is issued, but motorsport regulations can change, so eligibility should still be checked against the current MSUK Blue Book, FIA requirements, and the rules for your championship or event before purchase or installation.

Why Choose a Fully Certificated Roll Cage?
FIA Certificated roll cages offer a significant competitive edge over cages built to either MSUK or Minima FIA compliance standards. Engineered with high-performance materials and optimized geometry, they deliver maximum strength with minimal weight — often up to 20 kg lighter than minima-compliant designs, as they are often designed with smaller diameter and thinner gauge tube.
Key Features & Advantages
A roll cage design must comply with the MSA/FIA technical regulations published in the MS UK Blue book. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure his/her roll cage complies with the technical regulations appropriate to the event they are competing in.
For more information on the Certification processes, please find our Certification Guide for more details.
