Weight is the defining engineering brief for this Porsche roll cage: a Lightweight International Multipoint T45 kit for the 997, supplied with full FIA International certification for eligible competition use. For drivers building a Porsche 997 roll cage where every kilogram matters, the structure uses smaller-diameter, thinner-gauge T45 tube to keep the cage up to 20kg lighter than minima-compliant designs while retaining a serious motorsport specification.

The geometry is derived from a 3D scan of the 997 shell and independently FEA tested, so the weight saving is supported by engineering validation rather than guesswork. High-tensile T45 tube with a 700 MPa minimum strength gives the cage the strength-to-weight characteristics required for international-level builds, while the multipoint layout is designed to add meaningful occupant protection and chassis support.

An Optional Tubes upgrade is available for an additional £150 where regulations or build preferences require extra bracing beyond the base specification. Those additional tubes are marked in blue on the included schematic, making it clear what is added to the cage package. We manufacture the kit in-house using CNC laser-cut and end-formed tubes, laser-cut and folded footplates and gussets, and production processes supported by our laser cutting services and CNC tube bending capability.
