This all needs to be matched with safety! We have developed a T45 FIA Bolt In Roll Cage

Using FEA testing to optimise both weight and structural integrity to include side load testing for increased driver safety, increased side impact protection with double door bars. Traditional Roll Cages mount to the top chassis rail where this model mounts to the lower chassis rail providing increased lower leg protection. We also developed an optional rear cross for the rear stay mounts giving increased strength spanning the gap between the upper and lower chassis to the rear and a demountable single occupant petty bar for increased roll over protection.

Key Features of the Bolt-in Roll Cage Kit:

  • Quick Installation:
    • These kits offer a convenient way to install a roll cage in a car, especially compared to weld-in kits.
    • Installation is simplified as it mostly requires bolting, with welding needed only for the footplates.
  • Strength and Lightness:
    • Using our FIA Certified Lap-Joints: These lap joints are a key feature, offering stronger and lighter performance compared to traditional fixings. Their design also makes them nearly invisible once the cage is painted.
  • Footplate Design:
    • Traditional footplate boxes are not used due to their unacceptability in international events, replaced with underfloor doubler plates, which are more robust and secure.
  • OEM Mounting Points:
    • Some of our bolt-in designs utilise OEM mounting points in the body shell. This method is not suitable for MSUK or FIA-sanctioned events — please contact the technical sales team for further details.
  • Fixing Points:
    • Depending on the car’s category and model, there are up to 14 fixing points.
  • High-Quality Fasteners:
    • The kit uses high tensile 12.9 grade fixings, which are strong, durable, and included with the kit.
  • Coating Options:
    • The kit can be supplied either with a powder-coated finish for extra durability and aesthetics, or in plain steel, which can be customized by the installer.
