It’s a Special Year

As we celebrate our 40th year in business, we have many reasons to mark this incredible milestone, and it’s about far more than just four decades of trading.

Since opening our doors in 1985, Custom Cages have remained under the same ownership, an achievement we are immensely proud of and one that speaks to our passion, commitment, and consistency within the motorsport industry.

This landmark year also saw us complete our 5,000th installation, carried out on one of the latest development platforms, the BMW M4. What a car to mark the occasion.

For this project, we installed a T45 Multipoint Roll Cage, complete with optional diff tubes, all built to FIA standards. A key focus of this design was achieving an optimal fit, ensuring the roll cage remains fully FIA-compliant while contouring as closely as possible to the vehicle’s body.

This approach maximises interior space and allows us to stitch weld the cage to the shell, delivering exceptional strength and torsional rigidity.

This roll cage will be going live on our website soon, available either as a self-build kit of parts or with full installation by our experienced team. As with all our roll cages, every tube is laser cut and profiled, CNC mandrel bent, and supplied with all relevant foot plates and gussets, laser cut and folded to ensure an efficient and accurate installation.

And we’re not finished yet.

In our 40th year, we also reached another major milestone… 25,000 roll cage kits produced. That figure has already been surpassed and continues to grow.
